Project JOY

Growing Joy: Our Garden Club’s Impact Blooms Brightly

What began six years ago as a seed of kindness has blossomed into a thriving tradition of giving. Thanks to the energy, creativity, and generosity of our members, the JOY project has grown far beyond its humble beginnings, now delivering holiday cheer to six local charities. Together, we’re bringing smiles to over 600 children and elderly adults—and even warming the hearts of the hardworking staff at these organizations.

Here’s how our impact has flourished:

  • 2019: We partnered with one charity, FMCC, planting the roots of the JOY project.

  • 2020: Our first harvest yielded 35 handcrafted Easter baskets.

  • 2024: Fast forward to today, and this year we created 369 beautifully filled Easter baskets and 400 stuffed Christmas stockings.

The delight on the recipients’ faces reminds us why we do this—spreading joy is contagious! Each basket and stocking is a small act of kindness with a ripple effect, brightening spirits in ways that words can hardly capture.

To all our members: your dedication and generosity are the fertile ground that keeps this project growing. Let’s keep cultivating joy for years to come!   We joyfully share the following photos with you..
