and The Garden Club of South Carolina - East Piedmont District
Members of our GOTC non-profit garden club strive to create interest in gardening; protect wild flowers, birds and pollinators; and actively encourage community involvement and civic beautification in Tega Cay and Fort Mill, SC.
GOTC - a group with wild 'n crazy skills who share their love of gardening while fostering everlasting friendships.

Tega Cay Elementary School - Butterfly Garden
Installed Spring 2017: maintained to augment 2nd and
3rd grade curriculum
Riverview Elementary School - Carolina Fence Garden
Installed Spring 2019: maintained by GOTC volunteers
Riverview and Tega Cay Elementary Schools' Entrance Planters - Seasonal changeover plantings at entrances
Tiny Sprouts and Wee Sprouts Garden Clubs, and Garden Installations Located at Anne Springs Close Greenway - GOTC members teach pre-school garden classes for the Tiny Sprouts and Wee Sprouts programs; and maintain a PAR ("Plant a Row for the Hungry") garden with the children.

I-77 Blue Star Memorial Welcome Center
Monitor and spruce up this area and the Blue Star Marker
in Lake Wylie at Highways 49 and 557
Family Promise of York County Homeless Center
Maintain a Carolina Fence Garden, bench, and shade garden
"Minds Matter" Memory Care Crafts
GOTC members provide monthly gardening crafts sessions in partnership with Magnolia Memory Care, Inc.’s Memory Care Day Program for adults with dementia.
GARDENING ON THE CAY MEMORIAL GARDEN
Garden Established April 2023 - at Pitcairn Park Roundabout
Thanks to our members' work and steadfast dedication to creating our Gardening on the Cay Memorial Garden at Pitcairn Park, we have a beautiful site honoring our club members who have passed. Our successful partnership with the city brought our concept to fruition.
