A greeting from Gina Ginther, our 2023-25 GOTC president

When I reflect on our theme, “Leave a Legacy, Make your Community Your Garden!”, I think of all the amazing projects that our club is involved in that supports that theme.  We nourish our seniors with activities that preserve their precious memories of gardens past, we create and care for gardens that give us pleasure today and we invest in the children of our community to ensure future gardeners. And if that isn’t enough, we support community agencies and spread joy for the holidays.

Our club may be small, but our work is exceptional and regularly recognized at the district, state and national levels. We are an award- winning club because of all of you! You are an incredible group of people. Amazingly diverse, you come together with talent and experience and are so generous with your valuable time.

I look forward to a term of remarkable and creative work that continues to be our legacy of “Making our Community our Garden since 1977!”  I value each and every one of you for your unique talents and contributions to our garden club. Our fellowship is priceless!

Gardening on the Cay truly contributes to the Garden Club of South Carolina’s “force for good” and I am proud to serve as your president!

Take Care,

Gina Ginther

President 2023-2025
